So I'm fairly confident that I have some sort of photographic memory. A simple phrase, lyric or visual observation can summon events from months or years prior. While this may be helpful in school and work, it tends to be quite annoying when a lyric reminds me of a specific time I had listened to that song, where I was, who I was with, where I was going... eventhough it was 3 and a half years ago, I could pull out a map and be fairly accurate with the spot on the road I was driving. This then recalls the town where the friend lived, where we met, dinners, parties, moving... if I start to think about it, I'd probably be able to recall quite a lot... including the fact that we talked about photographic memory and that I said it was quite annoying at times.

Yea, so you've been warned to be careful when asking about something, because if I really wanted to, I'd go on for hours as I expand from the first query into seemingly unrelated topics.

Oh, and in 2 days I'll be on a plane heading to London...

Still not doing very well at keeping this up to date. Just been really busy with work and classes, this week is spring break, but I had a makeup class (due to snow) last night... and it ran over, so I didnt get home till 10:45. Yea, that includes the delay where the 2 middle lanes of the beltway were closed (but the left and right lanes were open), and then the taxi which didnt make the curve at the end of the road. I didn't want to detour several miles (on an empty tank, so I squeezed by on the wrong size of the road). Today - Work was long, this lab report isnt going well, and I had to replace a burnt-out headlight (I had bought new ones in June). Oh, and I got my fall semester grades in the mail. I guess the Post Office has difficulty in forwarding mail - This one was dated December 27th - so only about 2 months to forward it. And I'm headed to NYC this weekend, it should be fun - expecting to take lots of pictures and relax.

Um, yea, so I've managed to keep up to date with putting pictures on here, yet havent gotten around to captioning and unlocking most of them... current count is 7300 pictures, so it may take a while. Christmas with the family was good, New Years, home alone, was uneventful. I still havent gotten around to the list of things to rewrite/fix on this website, but perhaps sometime this month I'll get around to it. Hopefully pictures will be up, and maybe even the Comment/Reply feature will be working - Dont hold your breath too long...

So I have a few minutes, just wasting time surfing the web, waiting to head out. Oh, where am I? Why, I'm a dozen floors above the Apple store with the spiffy glass entrance (NYC). Yea, up here visiting college friends, not quite sure what I'll find to do this weekend, but hey, it gets me out and away from home for a weekend!

Haha, yea, still not doing well with this... Was back in Alaska from 24 August (ok, wasnt until 1am on the 25 when I landed - blame Chicago/O'Hare, United, AND American Airlines (at least the United agent was helpful in getting me to AK without waiting a day) till 18 September. Been busy with work, 2 night classes, and running around hanging out with friends. Every weekend this month (yes, October), I'm going to be somewhere else... Western PA, Eastern PA, NYC, Norfolk/Va Beach (ok, havent made arrangements for the last one yet). Next month I'm not looking forward to having Jury duty on the same day as one of my MidTerm Exams -- petty people can't be nice and resolve their differences with out a fight or lawsuit... Um, other than that, not a whole lot going on of consequence...

Ok, no updates from Alaska - I blame that on being too busy. But hey, the "new user" feature is working (there are a few pictures, some blog posts that are hidden from the masses) and the gallery has everything added, I'm just slowly commenting pictures and unlocking them. Alaska Pictures (id=5000) are first, then Hawaii and working backwards...

I dont want to sleep when the sun is still out, but my is it difficult when the sun sets at 11:30 and rises by 5am...

Exhausted, long day, went running, cleaned and prepped the classroom, watched some training/testing out in the middle of nowhere, out to dinner, back here thinking of going to bed early. Running again tomorrow, maybe going hiking or exploring, not too certain yet...
